Hi. Is TJA standard on UK spec Arteons? I can't seem to get it to work.

Hi,

Do you have ACC?

I just stick the ACC to a set speed and the car will control its speed from that speed to a complete standstill - works very well

I do not think there is an actual setting for it - its just a function of ACC - I may stand to be corrected though

Thanks,

Damien.

All UK-spec Arteons have ACC. TJA uses ACC and LA. However LA doesn't work under 35mph. From FB group it seems TJA isn't on UK-spec cars.
You mention traffic alerts. This is one reason I am having issues trying to adjust to Discover Media navigation limitations. I am seriously thinking of installing my trusty TomTom 6100 and giving up on the Discover app.

TomTom give you a coloured line showing the start and end of all traffic congestion for your own direction (in red), and for the return dirrection, in orange). These colors overlay the preset route....
Re Routing is also automatic. and a separate side window indicates several miles in advance the distance ahead to to congestion, speed cameras, and poi.
Speed cameras get a tripple ping too and the updates immediate - are over their network.
This thread is nothing to do with Traffic alerts. Can you start a new thread please?
I see that Driver's Assistance Pack Plus is an option on the Passat estate and this quotes Traffic Jam Assist in the details but there seems to be no such option for the Arteon. Do you know if TJA comes on the Arteon at all?
It works on mine if it is the function regarding being able to follow the trafic when it stops and starts in a que?

Just need to be aware when going through a roundabout and the car in front of you exit before your planned exit. You might get a faster exit speed than planned
Thanks for the confirmation. I’ve just ordered an R-line DSG and am looking forward to this feature on the motorways.
I am in the Uk and it works well on my Elegance 1.5tsi. Sitting on M25 it makes the drive more relaxing. It seems if the car sits for a few seconds then it won't move off until you manually touch the accelerator then it takes over again.

Just make sure you don't download the June 2019 sat nav update as that seems to have set UK dual carriageway speed limits to a default of 60. Had to re-install my old version after my Arteon kept slowing down!

Sadly mine was delivered with the latest maps...
