I have a 2019 ARTEON 4 motion which in the past 6 weeks has suffered a litany of serious faults.
Failure of the control unit on the brake servo took 10 days at the dealership & cost over £2,000 but luckily still in warranty. Two days later had total loss of SatNav, passive safety systems & endless dashboard warnings flashing up
Now been at a different dealership for the past 3 days for total replacement of the onboard computer - the cost of the unit in excess of £3,000 !! They had to contact VW Tech Support in Germany to clarify the software download & still not got the car back yet. I’ve written to VW Customer Service UK & asked for warranty extension as it expires in December. Pretty disillusioned all round & losing faith in a car that I initially loved. Anyone had similar experience?

On occasions I have a problem connecting my iPhone to the Arteon's computer system and I get a message telling me to wait. Sometimes a minute or so, and sometimes I have to turn the car off and start again. This week whilst away in Ireland the screen and all the bits and pieces associated with the computer [radio, phone, etc etc] all went black and stopped working. Sometimes it comes back on and sometimes I have to stop and start again. Most annoying and almost impossible to get a VW dealer to understand. A real shame, because it is a lovely car which is not yet two years old.
