Internet in the car with Cubic Telecom

I would like to know how to get my iPhone and iPad connected to the Cubic Telecom service. I have signed up for a 3 month free trial and have tried many times to connect either of these pieces of equipment without any success. Cubic have emailed me many times trying to be helpful but thus far no joy. I went to my local VW garage and the chap there told me that it is not possible to connect tablets of any type to the cars internet and that the phone will not connect if carplay is in use either. I have had a couple of Insignias prior to the Arteon and could connect both quite easily.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

My 2018 Arteon connects to an internet service quite easily. There is an icon showing connection when live on top line of infotainment panel. Internet can be connected by either bluetooth or wifi connection with car, or using USB connection in car. Not all USB ports in arteon ate data-capable, so only usb port in armrest can be used. When connected my SatNav shows far more items shen searching for locations.

When connected you can share connection to any devices via infotm wifi, or direct to your MiFi with wifi connection. Security settings, SSID can be whatever you want,

I suggest you first set up the connection with a direct USB cable. Mu MifI has both wifi and USB port, I use the USB port always since the WiFi connection is not always automatically achieved.
Read the manual and it talks you through the initial connection procedure.
