Any chance this is something that can be disabled through the cars settings? I know on BMW's I've had with this feature you could alter the pre-set speed or turn off the alert altogether. Could find it under 'Limit'
How annoying. I had looked at the Premium model here in the US with this feature and decided if I got one, I'd disable this feature completely, especially if the reading gives autonomous control to the throttle:surprise:.I thought this issue would go away after update to 19/2020 maps this week, but not so.
On the 5 mile stretch of un-restricted dual carriagway (A404 Handy Cross to Maidenhead) ) I consistantly get incorrect alert messages for speeding. The National limit applies (70 mph) and the alerts flash up and dissapear 4 times along this 5 miles of road.
The dash diaplay flashes up a 60mpg limit sign with red circle and says Dynamic Road Sign indicates I am doing excessive speed.
If ACC were engaged then the brakes go on and off in harmony with the errors and a loud pings sound. The passengers then panic and the cars behind have to slow and avoid the crazy Arteon driiver. I do not use ACC anymore, but the Alert message still worries passengers.
Any suggestions?
