Change run flat tyres for normal?

I was in a similar predicament for a while now and especially here in SA tyre prices are getting out of hand. We recently had a 30+% increase on tyre imports. The wifey actually spoiled me with a set of mags for Christmas today and as part of the package I fitted new Conti Sport Contact 7's... they are not run flat. I am not sure whether I might face issues in the future due to them not being run flat (insurance, warranty etc.) but the ride is definitely softer and quieter... Stuck with the same standard 19 size but so far no regrets. Maybe a nail or two in the future will change that 😅
