Well, there are some niggles comparing to the Passat Estate.
The glove compartment, drivers dash compartment and center arm rest compartment have no space in them. plus there is no roof console storag (perhaps becase mine has the sliding roof).
It takes some whiile to get used to the tightly-packed steering wheel buttons too.
But on the plus side this petrol is engine is much quieter than the former diesel ( but I miss that 0 to 130 kph growl like when pulling away from motorway tollgates - the Passat sounded great )
The boot wheel/tools storage area has more space and spare (19") wheel removal for tyre pressure checks is much easier. (had to remove the polystrene on Passat)
Love the steering - very settled on twisties - just like my son's Audi TT.
It took me ages to get good MPG consumption figures. Now I can see 50 ~ 52 mpg at times. I use ECO mode by default, with occasional flicks of the D/S stick in and out of sports mode.
The Arteon does not have the pickup lag that was dangerously slow when rolling up to mini roundabouts in the Passat.( on the Passat had to prepare into Sports mode whilst approaching them).
Maybe by 2020 I might get to like that infotainment setup !
