Hey all, I've recently bought my arteon, only came as 190ps (shooting brake). I was wondering what the actual mechanical differences are between the 190 and 280? Or is it literally just the tune?

When I had my 190TSi in 2018, I also wondered what was the differences. It's a bit more complex, but basically look upon the 190 as a Golf GTI where as the 280 as a Golf R. 280 has larger turbo and 4WD as standard although the 190 can be spec'd with 4WD. The 190 is a B spec engine and has a MAF unlike the 280. I have had my 190 TVS mapped and although only 266bhp the torque is over 340 ft lb which far exceds the 280. Only issue is trying to get the power down on acceleration as mine is FWD only. Lowered suspension and Powerflex hybrid lower engine mount still not helpful!

Thats good to know about the remap, I was considering this option. Has your map caused any problems with the MAF? I've heard different things.
